My background is in remedial therapies including Bowen Therapy, Arvigo Abdominal Massage, Barral technique and Psych K Practitioner, as well as teaching Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Gong. I have Level 1 in Doctor Robert Morse School of Detoxification and a Certified Lymphologist from Clarity University.
After playing contact sport most of my life I thought I was bullet proof. Then reality struck after a surfing accident where I landed on dry reef. Within 2 months of the accident injuries started to mount up. Torn hamstrings, pinched sciatic nerve, and adductor issues; things were not looking good. I tried multiple different therapies, but to no avail. Then I stumbled upon Bowen therapy and it changed my life. I knew that I wanted to make a difference for other people as it had made for me, so I became a therapist!
My passion is to assist and educate as many people as possible to understanding the language of their own body to empower them to take charge of their own health. I’ve been working full time in the industry for the last 8 years as a Teacher and Therapist and forever will be a student of this amazing vehicle the human body.
My commitment is to assist people to improve the quality of life be it to reduce pain, improve mobility or reach that next level of strength and flexibility.
On a personal level, I love learning more about the body, be it reading about anatomy, practicing yoga/Chi Gong, gymnastics, rock climbing, breath work, eating healthy food (as long as it tastes good) and spending time in nature and growing my own food.
